Nitrogen Oxides
Nitric oxides NOx are harmfull to human health. They are formed through different mechanisms when buring fuel. Nitrogen N2 offucs naturally in the air, as is Oxygen O2, so the formation of NOx is largely due to the added factor, heating.Main factors that cause NOx to form are :
Thermal
(1) Thermal , oxygen concentration,(2) Thermal ,peak temperature
(3) Thermal ,time of exposure at peak temperature
(4) Promt, Reactions within the flame
(5) Fuel, Reactions between oxygen and nitrogen in the fuel
