=====Improved 2 axis heliostat=====
The first 2 axis was a bit shaky and not that well designed. I set out to make a new one that was more sturdy and less complicated. The result is shown below (more pictures ot follow).

This heliostat has a horizontal bar around which the mirror can turn (using a piano hinge). the second axis is achieved as that bar can tusn on a vertical axis made out of a metal cart wheel (wheel removed).

One motor is fixed to the bar, the other to the pole.

This gives a pretty lean and robust setup for experimentation with the controller.

The mirror is aluminium glued to multiplex. Here the mirror size is 50 by 50 cm, but it is obvious this design can hold for bigger mirrors.

The light inside is natural sunlight..about 200 Watt worth of it!
