Start Seaweed Farming in the Pacific Gyri
Seaweed can grow most anywhere in the oceans, because the necessary nutrients are available at deeper depth. Using the natural fixing nature of the pacific gyri one can build vast seaweed farms that will not move, in a zone that is not criossed by ships. This can be the biggest carbon sink an have real impact. Architects have already made plans for an [[Back to Indexeco hideout because they see the plastic amassing in the gyri, but they fail to recongnize the more important issue is the capture of carbon dioxide to prevent ocean acidification (a process that will kill the oceans eventually).
