A new type of desalination has been proven. It works though Thermo-Ionic energy conversion, where
Salt selective membranes first create an electrical potential which is then used to desalinate. It uses solar energy
and low pressure and therefore much cheaper than current methods.
Self made, ions form the top bain are drawn to the reservoirs with surplus positive and negatve ions.
