Agora Centrism or the Agoracentric Model (nl:of het Agoracentrische Model)
Contra to economic theory in an post petro world there is a lot to say for autonomous communities
- Communities are build around centres, the town square or Agora
- There is energy automony within the community
- There is food autonomy within the community
- There is manufacturing automony for most items within the community
- Transmission of energy is limited to a radius either around the relevant agora or a distance limit
- Companies can not deliver their products beyond a distance from their factory
- Companies can not exist or operate beyond a distance from their main branch
- Money is issued to all proportional to the goods produced and their market value
- Money is limited by the production that can be afforded my the energy and raw materials available
Society consists of a patchwork of communities and there are no big cities.
